Christina Edkins was stabbed to death on a bus on Thursday as she travelled to school and yesterday friends and members of her family were present to watch West Briom take on the Swans.
As the minutes applause broke out at half time it was observed by everyone in the ground and has been the tradition of the football family.
This afternoon, at Planet Swans, we received this email which we felt was worth sharing

Hi,
I have just tried to register with your message board but appreciate that you may not accept it as my email address tells that I am a West Brom fan.
However, the reason for registering is so that I can thank Swansea fans.
I am a close friend of Jason Edkins(Dad of murdered schoolgirl Christina) and we wanted to thank Swansea fans for their respect towards Christina and her family at halftime yesterday. It was top quality and very much appreciated by Jason’s friends in the crowd who are all still very upset. Many Albion fans in the pub afterwards were commenting on the respect shown from Swansea fans.
You guys were top class.Thankyou.
Regards
Mike
