Laudrup had been linked with both West Ham and Newcastle this summer who had both been impressed with him winning the only major trophy in our history in his spell at the club between the summer of 2012 and February 2014.
Laudrup arrived in South Wales with some style with his side defying all expectations in the Premier League as well as winning the Capital One Cup with a record final margin, defeating Bradford 5-0 at Wembley.
However, it seemed to turn sour after that and Laudrup was sacked as Swansea managed back in February last year making way for Garry Monk who in turn led the Swans to a record breaking campaign last time around.
Laudrup was in charge of Lekhiywa last season and led them to a league and cup double but was widely tipped for a return to the Premier League before this announcement yesterday by his representative Bayram Tutumlu
Michael Laudrup after thinking several offers had to end has decided to sign one year contract with his former clup Lekhwiya Fc.
