รขโฌลRennes has forwarded an offer of รขโยฌ3 million [รยฃ2.15m] to Sampdoria for striker Stefano Okaka. The player would be attracted by the offer of Stade Rennais, but the problem is Sampdoria requires a bigger transfer fee to start the discussions,รขโฌย the report in RMC states.
Okaka, who scored 4 goals last season, is reported to be wanting a move away from Italy at this point in time and has previously played in this country with Fulham where he scored 3 goals in 13 appearances of which 10 were from the bench.
This is a rumour that has gathered little pace since it was first reported last weekend and I personally cannot see any truth in it but we continue to be linked with the move despite the player not really – in my mind anyway – fitting the criteria of player that we would look for.
