Hull Striker Prices Himself Out?

The striker – who scored 5 goals in the second half of last season for the relegated Tigers is keen to secure himself a move back to the Premier League with the Swans, Crystal Palace and Norwich all reported in today’s paper as being interested

But in a classic case of ‘player exaggerates his worth’ N’Doye is reported to be looking for an incredible ร‚ยฃ50,000 per week to secure his services after the poor lamb claims he had to take a pay cut to play for Hull in the first place.

There is no way for me that the Swans would ever consider paying that kind of money for a striker who has played half a season in the Premier League and – in perspective – scored less than half a dozen goals which is less than many players during the same stage of the season.

And it is a figure that I suspect will put off any potential suitors and not just us. It would probably be an idea for the player to decide that he needs to prove himself first before he starts banding around the figures that he wants to earn and making demands that – as it stands – his footballing talent cannot cash in.

Looks like a spell in the Championship may beckon for the striker although I suspect a dose of reality may do him more good
