Taylor Remembers Famous Wins

The Swans picked up 32 of their 56 points last term at home and were beaten just 5 times on their own soil which is a massive reason why we managed to end the season in 8th place having never dropped out of the Top 10 all season.

And included in those points were of course the wins over two of the sides who ended the season in the top four places in the Premier League.

รขโ‚ฌล“We didnรขโ‚ฌโ„ขt have that feeling of invincibility at home. In the Championship, in particular, teams would come here not expecting to win because we played that well at the Liberty.

รขโ‚ฌล“So we wanted to make the Liberty a fortress again for the supporters, and I think weรขโ‚ฌโ„ขve gone a long way to achieving that this season.

รขโ‚ฌล“Weรขโ‚ฌโ„ขve beaten Arsenal and Manchester United at home, which isnรขโ‚ฌโ„ขt easy, while we only lost a few.รขโ‚ฌย

The Swans will be looking to achieve the same level of home performances again in this coming season when it kicks off in August and a similar return of points will go along way to securing another Top 10 finish as a bare minimum.

รขโ‚ฌล“We exceeded expectations. To be in the top ten for the whole season was a fantastic achievement when you consider the size of the clubs below us” added Taylor.
