Sky Sports reporter Amy Lewis, a regular reporter on the Swans tweeted the news this evening on a day when West Ham were also rumoured to be interested in the player.

Richards has been linked with a host of clubs this close season after admitting at the end of last season that he would have to consider leaving the club in a bid for first team football.
And it looks like – despite reported Premier League interest – that he will return to the club where he spent time on loan last season with the deal expected to be completed by the end of the week
