Michu Wanted By Former Club

Michu spent a year at the club, scoring 16 goals in 37 games, before the Swans snapped him up as one of the bargains of 2012 when they paid just ร‚ยฃ2m for a player who went on to be one of the leading scorers in the Premier League the following season.

But in the last 18 months it has not worked out for Michu though injury, loss of form and some rumoured attitude issues and his time at Swansea looks to be over.

He has been linked with a move to West Ham and also Deportivo La Coruna but the Spanish paper Marca report that he is wanted by Vallecano.

However, the same reports suggest that they know wages can be an issue so the deal can only happen if the Swans are prepared to give him a free transfer and the player is prepared to take a pay cut.

It is being reported that the deal could happen as we know that the club and the player are ready to part company but financials will determine the likelihood.
