Rumoured Swans Target At Man Utd

It was reported in yesterday’s papers that Holgate was a target for both the Swans and Aston Villa with the latter supposedly having submitted a ร‚ยฃ1m enquiry for the young right back.

But today it seems that he is wanted at Old Trafford and you have to say that with first team football unlikely at any of the three clubs then he is more likely to end up there than anyway.

That said it could be a case that his advisers may suggest that a ‘smaller club’ would be better for him and therefore Villa would remain very much in the hunt although our interest extends at the moment it appears no further than the paper stories linking him in the first place.

We have made it our business very often over the past few years to not comment publically too much on transfer speculation so I read nothing into the silence on the subject and continue to watch this space.
