Planet Swans ArchivesIt is feeling like all transfer rumours are joining together with Ashley Williams also linked with a move to Everton should John Stones move to Chelsea it is being reported elsewhere that it is Holgate who is on the shopping list of the Toffees should they find themselves looking for a new central defender.
Both the Swans and Aston Villa were initially reported to be after Holgate but it was then stated that he was on trial at Old Trafford. That appeared to be the destination most likely for him but now it seems that the former Premier League champions do not want him and other options could come forward.
Everton defender John Stones is being strongly linked with a move to Chelsea – a move criticised by their manager Roberto Martinez but if this does come off then they would be looking for a replacement.
Earlier today we reported that Ashley Williams was a target of theirs should the move of the young defender to Chelsea happen.
As with every transfer window there are knock on effects to every story and the Stones one has created two that could affect us today alone.
