Jenas, who is now a pundit on the BBC, had playing spells at several clubs including Tottenham and Aston Villa and he believes that the Swans are an attractive proposition to any potential player that they may wish to sign.
Jenas was talking after the Swans were held by Chelsea on the opening weekend of the season. It was a game where they took the play to their hosts – the Champions – and can certainly class themselves as unlucky to be leaving Stamford Bridge without all three points.
“I think it’s to do with their whole philosophy – the way they play,” Jenas said on MOTD2 Extra.
“As a footballer you look at Swansea and think ‘I would like to play for that team’
“They pop it around and play an attractive style.
“One of my friends went there, Kyle Naughton. He did really well against Eden Hazard this weekend.
“He was discarded by Spurs, but he has slotted into the right-back position at Swansea and he looks to have rebuilt his career.
“I think that’s what players are doing.”
