There used to be much criticism of the team a few years back that we only had one way to play and if Plan A didn’t work then we would generally lose the game as we had nowhere to turn when needing to do something different.
That was then though and this is now and the Swans are a different kettle of fish and seemingly able to adapt what we need to do to reflect the opposition and with 60 points from our last 40 Premier League games it is difficult to try and suggest that it isn’t working.
Of course it helps that we currently have our best ever squad that seems to be getting better and better but that takes nothing away from the tactics.
Midfielder Jack Cork arrived at Swansea back in January but has featured in every Premier League game for the club since and he credits the Swans success to their different gameplans
รขโฌลThe manager always talks about having different plans for different games,รขโฌย said the English midfielder.
รขโฌลThe idea was to press Newcastle, try and get in their faces and use our home crowd to our advantage.
รขโฌลIt was a different tactic to what we used at Chelsea, but it worked and everyone is happy with the win.
รขโฌลWeรขโฌโขve shown weรขโฌโขre a strong team in the first two games, even when it has been 11 against 11 we have created chances and scored goals.
รขโฌลWeรขโฌโขve started the season brightly and hopefully we can go on from here.รขโฌย
