I am sure that it is not the start to his new career that he wanted but following his lucky escape against Southampton inside twenty seconds he was at it again this weekend inside two minutes.
It appeared as if he may have stamped on Swans defender Neil Taylor in the melee that followed a foul awarded in the favour of the visitors.
As the two players squared up they had to be separated by their team mates and Mitrovic was also addressed by the referee in front of his captain further into the game as his temper threatened to get the better of him.
For all of that though he just received a yellow card for his actions but it was not an incident that was playing on the mind of Taylor after the game
“We just clashed in a tackle,” said Taylor.
“He looks like a guy who wants to win a lot and is hot tempered and he was probably sent on the pitch to make something happen.
“But he was fine afterwards and we shook hands and laughed about it. It just happens on a football pitch, but he looked a good player.
“He wants to put himself about but he looks like he will be a good player for them.”
