There Will Be More Ups Than Downs

The Swans have made an excellent start on that front with a draw at Chelsea and a win against Newcastle at home putting us already three points up on the respective fixtures last season and a win at Sunderland today would make that tally five as we only drew there last term.

It is a much more in depth squad that the Swans have this time around thanks to the summer transfer activity and if we can keep our players fit in the main then we have a real chance of pushing on from last season and having another excellent season ahead of us.

And we are backed by a confident manager who must be happy with the way his career is panning out and he must at times also wonder just what the difficulty is with management given the way that he has produced results right from the moment he was appointed.

And he believes heavily in his squad this season รขโ‚ฌล“I think with this group we can have more ups than downs,รขโ‚ฌย he suggests.

รขโ‚ฌล“Itรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs about focusing them each week, not letting complacency kick in, and making sure they play their best football.

รขโ‚ฌล“Weรขโ‚ฌโ„ขve done that in two games and it bodes well. It shows that when they apply themselves and put the effort in, we can cause trouble.

รขโ‚ฌล“Itรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs now about trying to replicate it in as many games as we can, which is difficult in this league.รขโ‚ฌย

Swansea City: Andy Coleman has much to answer for right now
