McBurnie Double As Swans Under-21s Beat Stoke

McBurnie followed up his goal last week with a double – one in each half – to give the Swans a second win in a week and lift themselves further up the early league table.

He was on hand to turn home a Josh Sheehan corner after just 11 minutes and his second one came after he picked up a Daniel James pass and turned his man before firing home.

He would have had a hat-trick had it not been for some good goalkeeping from the Stoke point of view with Josh Sheehan also coming close as the Swans threatened a more convincing win.

The result lifted the Swans to 5th place in the table and inflicted Stoke’s first defeat of the season.
