That game is just the small matter of a home game against Manchester United who will bring their own unbeaten record to the Liberty on Sunday having won two and drawn one so far without conceding a goal.
If you want to draw a straight comparison, United failed to get past Newcastle on Saturday and drew 0-0 at Old Trafford a week after the Swans brushed past them at the Liberty which could give us additional hope for the game.
Things are going pretty well in the world of Garry Monk at the moment thanks to his summer transfer dealings, his detailed preparation for the new season and of course the small matter of this unbeaten start which he will want to ensure remains intact going into the international break.
It is therefore little wonder that he is a happy man at this point in time although he accepts that there is more to be done “There is a lot of work to do with the group but we are progressing nicely” he said.
“The squad is good, the way we are playing and the commitment they show every day is what I want. I’m excited by this group – I’m excited working with them and producing football like we’ve been doing since the start of the season.
“Hopefully we can continue that and improve it throughout the season.
“We want to keep the momentum going. Our focus is on progressing, keeping the club growing the squad growing and the quality of football growing. We just need to keep that going.”
