The Swans did a historic double over the Red Devils at the Liberty last season, winning both fixtures 2-1 and have the opportunity to beat them again in front of the Sky cameras on Sunday afternoon.
Both sides go into the game unbeaten in the Premier League so far this season with the Swans on five points and our visitors on seven.
It is of course the last game before the first international break of the season and both sides will be wanting to take those unbeaten records into that break which should make for an entertaining game between the two teams.
Neil Taylor is one player who is clearly in confident mood ahead of the game and believes that Swansea is somewhere that Louis Van Gaal’s team would not want to go at this point in time.
“They are a big football club and they have started the season very well” said Taylor.
“Like Liverpool I think they have tightened up defensively. They have decided that winning games is maybe more important than style of football.
รขโฌลBut they are a team who wonรขโฌโขt want to play against us and weรขโฌโขll look forward to the game.
รขโฌลThereรขโฌโขs always a buzz when you play games like this. People dream about facing these clubs growing up รขโฌโ that doesnรขโฌโขt change.
รขโฌลAnd we know now that we can compete.
รขโฌลWeรขโฌโขve got results before against the big clubs so we know we can do it and we are looking forward to it.
รขโฌลHopefully they are not and we can put on another good show.รขโฌย
