Man Utd Boss Doesn’t Want To Lose Again

The Swans beat Man Utd 2-1 at Old Trafford in Van Gaal’s first game in charge last August and then it was the same scoreline at the Liberty in February as the Swans came from behind to secure the famous double.

We were the only team to do the double over Van Gaal’s side as they finished 4th in the Premier League last time around which has led to them this week confirming their place in the group stages of the Champions League.

Both sides go into tomorrow’s game with unbeaten starts to their season, Man Utd being unbeaten in five, with four wins and the Swans unbeaten in four with two wins under their belt.

And with a record crowd expected at the Liberty on Sunday it promises to be an exciting game for the Sky TV cameras. The Swans have probably gained more plaudits for the way that they have started the season and that could give us an edge as United have flattered to deceive a little in the league despite their unbeaten start.

Van Gaal though is focused on getting something out of the game and told the press yesterday: รขโ‚ฌล“The first match I played was against Swansea, we lost and now I have to play the 50th match. I hope we can show how we have improved because that is the main thing.

รขโ‚ฌล“Last year we only lost all the points against Swansea and I always want improvement of my team and players.

รขโ‚ฌล“I think the first match last season we were not well prepared because of the USA tour and I have explained that already more than 20 times.

รขโ‚ฌล“We were prepared for the second game against Swansea but it was an unlucky game for us. Swansea have a very good team this season as they did last season and they have proved it by drawing at Chelsea and winning at home to Newcastle.

รขโ‚ฌล“They have quality so it will be difficult to beat them but we are better prepared than last season.รขโ‚ฌย
