Reports are saying that the Swans are happy to let Dyer go on the season long loan after seeing his first team opportunities limited at the club this season.
He had been linked with a move away on a permanent basis at the start of the summer but it did seem that those links had gone and Dyer would be staying at Swansea but it now looks like a deadline day move is likely.
The move would leave the Swans a little light in cover in that position so it could mean a recall for Modou Barrow from Blackburn or it could mean a last minute move of our own and remember the stories yesterday that Junior Hoilett had been offered to us – could they now have some more substance with Dyer on his way. Sky Sports News though report that there is no real appetite in Swansea to make a move on that front through
Not sure why the move is not a permanent one but it does seem now that Dyer has – at least for now – become surplus to requirements at Swansea and he is heading to Leicester who are one place above us in the table.
Sky Sports are reporting that there is no recall clause in the loan deal either.
