Stoke City In Michu Link

The saga of Michu has dragged on and on this summer and Stoke are likely to be on the lookout for a last minute deal too as Jonathan Walters has handed in a transfer request at the club.

The Swans have been trying to offload him for much of the summer as he isn’t wanted at the club but there never seems to be any firm interest in the player despite many media links with clubs here and abroad.

There is nothing being reported in the mass media about a move to Stoke but rumours are escalating and it is possible that a deal could be had if Mark Hughes decides that he is the man to replace Walters.

There is a logic in this one and it could have some mileage but we remain a little sceptical that this could just be a case of putting two and two together.
