Willams – We Are Not Leaving Disappointed

Qualification still remains in Wales’ hands and could even be sealed this evening should Belgium fail to win in Nicosia but with games away to Bosnia and home to Andorra to come it should still be a Welsh party at some point in the next few weeks as they seek to reach the final stages.

Chances came the Welsh way and there should have been a penalty midway through the second half but it was never to be against a team that came for a point and defended with many men behind the ball for pretty much all of the 90 minutes.

Williams was named man of the match at the end of the game and Wales have now kept five consecutive clean sheets in qualification which tells you much about how strong we are defensively.

Speaking to Sky Sports at the end of the game Williams said “We pushed and pushed they obviously came for a draw but another clean sheet and another point

“We wanted to get it done and dusted today but we havenรขโ‚ฌโ„ขt done that but no way are we leaving here disappointed

“We have two more games to go it is still on us there is no panic and we keep the momentum going into the next two games”
