Arsenal Or Liverpool Should Have Signed Williams

Clearly he was too embarrassed to include his former club in that particular list but it does always surprise me that more clubs have not come in for Ash in the past.

Don’t get me wrong, I would not like to see him go anywhere but he does seem to be overlooked by many of the bigger clubs who seem blind to his talent but it is very clear how good he is whenever you see him on the pitch for Swansea or Wales.

The sheer fact that Wales have kept five consecutive clean sheets shows you how well the Welsh defence is marshalled under Williams and you only have to look back to last Sunday’s win over Manchester United to know how much he means to the Swans.

Williams has been a pretty much ever present for club and country in recent years and there are very few times that he has let either down but transfer interest has come in just some speculation and nothing much else.

Crystal Palace were reported as to have made an enquiry this summer but that bit was never going to happen and Arsenal have been strongly linked in the past with Liverpool only really linked because of our connection with Brendan Rodgers.
