OK Time To Focus On Watford

After our brilliant start to the Premier League season we go into Saturday’s game in the nice lofty position of 4th in the league and will be looking for our first away win of the season to keep that run going.

Watford on the other hand are looking for their first win of the season, with three draws and a defeat in their four games to date and will see this as their chance to lift their form or they could find themselves sat in the relegation places come the end of Saturday’s game.

Garry Monk will still be hoping that his players report back from international duty with no injury concerns and he will be keeping a close eye on Wembley on Tuesday night where Jonjo Shelvey is expected to win another England cap.

Ki and Andre Ayew are the two with the longest trips and they could be tired and jet lagged when they return so it will be interesting to see whether we keep Ayew in the side or save him for a run out from the bench.

Watford away is certainly a game that we should be targeting for a win but we need to make sure that we do not under estimate them, they won promotion with some style last season and will certainly be looking at their home form this season if they are going to get enough points to retain a Premier League place.

The international break this time around was fun to watch but it is nice to start thinking about league action again.
