This is far from a crisis but it is certainly a worrying loss of form from the Swans who have struggled since we beat Manchester United at the end of August. It is not just the lack of wins that is the concerns but the nature of the performances with the one against Stoke last Monday being by far the low point as the Swans surrendered their unbeaten home record without a fight.
The performances have led for calls to many changes to the Swans side and one of those will be the return of Leon Britton who many want to see back in the Swans side this afternoon.
“You think about a lot of things in these sorts of moments รขโฌโ what combinations might work or what you can do to help the team in a particular game,” said the Swansea manager.
“I’ve thought about that all week and, of course, Leon is always under consideration, as are all the other players.
“They’ve all made big contributions in the past, although it’s not as if I could identify one person that you could take out because he’s having a bad time of it. It’s very much a collective.
“We will look at the week’s training, analyse the opposition and see what we feel is best for the game.”
