When Gomis scored against Manchester United back in August it was four goals in four games and he was one of the hottest properties in the Premier League. But a run of blanks since then has changed all that and Gomis is under fire from sections of the Swans support as the club embark on a run that has seen them secure just one win in their last eight.
Gomis is widely talked about as the player who has been caught offside more than any other in the Premier League and he was widely criticised for missing a one on one chance against Arsenal last weekend with the game evenly poised at the time.
However, Gomis has this morning turned to social media to share his thoughts and said on his official Instagram account “There are some times more difficult than others. However it’s at this moment that we have to stay close and work harder than ever.
“All together with our loyal supporters nothing is impossible and we will find a success. I’m a Jack!!”

Garry Monk suggested earlier in the week that he will keep faith with Gomis for the visit to Norwich this afternoon and we have to hope that that faith is justified.
