It was back in the January transfer window that the Swans splashed the cash to bring the striker to the Liberty but, despite a promising start, he has not lived up to the expectations and he looks set to be on his way out.
The move could mean a move for Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony is in the pipeline with many media outlets believing that the striker is high on the Swans wish list for a Liberty Stadium return less than two years after he departed for a club record fee.
Inside football report that “According to Italian broadcaster Sky Italia, Atalanta have agreed a fee of รขโยฌ7.5m with Swansea and slapped a six-year contract in front of Paloschi.”
The same outlet reports that Paloschi has been offered a six-year deal wirth 1.5 million Euros per year and also represents only a small loss for the Swans over the period that the striker was in South Wales.
A long way to go to see this work its way through at the moment but there will be very few Swans fans that would complain if the departure of Paloschi paved the way for the return of Bony.
