With Eder already gone and Paloschi also out of the exit door the Swans look set to end with no strikers at all soon as Bafetimbi Gomis is being linked with a move to Marseille so a move for Bolanos is extremely possible.
And with the interest confirmed by Jose Chamorro it does sound as if Chairman Huw Jenkins may well be in talks with the player.
“It’s true interest from Swansea. Swansea was interested in Miller Bolanos before and now” said Chamorro.
“If Miler does not want to be transferred to a club, he’s not going.
“There are clubs in Europe that are interested in him. There are offers for Miller Bolanos and we are working. He wants to go to Europe, but is still playing in Brazil.”
Bolanos moved to Gremio from Ecuadorian side Emelec, where he scored 61 goals in 105 games over three years.
He is also an international team-mate of Swansea’s South American winger Jefferson Montero and has netted seven goals in 17 Ecuador appearances.
