His time at Derby was ended by the club in a slight knee jerk reaction with them 5th in the division and certainly does not seem to be something that should put Swans fans off his appointment.
BBC Sport reports that the Swans are now down to a final list of two with former Birmingham manager Gary Rowett still reportedly in the running on a day when Redknapp, Giggs and Coleman all appeared to be ruled out of the running.
They also report that Clement was interviewed when the Swans appointed Bradley and he is said to have impressed the board at that point in time.
Alan Curtis is likely to remain in charge of the team certainly for Saturday’s visit of Bournemouth and at his press conference this afternoon he was unsure as to how long that may last
“We will take it on a day by day basis,” said Curtis.
“What the club needs is not a change of direction. The club has been the club and the way we run the club is the way that suits us.
“Somebody needs to come in with our philosophy with a little bit of experience and perhaps look at it with fresh eyes. That’s exactly what it needs.”
