We Have To Look Forward Says Ki

It is now seven defeats from eleven at the Liberty this season for the Swans who aren’t just being beaten but they are being beaten comfortably with another four goal defeat yesterday making it eleven goals conceded in the last three games at home.

It started reasonably well yesterday with the Swans holding possession and passing the ball well and frustrating Arsenal with some chasing down of the ball high up the pitch but almost as soon as the first goal went in then it was a different story as the confidence disappeared and it looked for long periods in the second half as if Arsenal could score at will.

Ki was involved in one of the discussion points from the game when he appealed for a penalty during the first half but was shown a yellow card by Mike Jones for simulation, a decision that he accepts but still feels was wrong.

รขโ‚ฌล“I thought it was a penalty,รขโ‚ฌย he said.

รขโ‚ฌล“I felt contact and that I had been fouled. But the refereeรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs decision was not to give it. We have to accept that, but it was disappointing for us not to get the penalty.รขโ‚ฌย

Ki has been recalled to the side by new manager Paul Clement and wants his team mates to look forward to the challenges to come rather than reflecting too much on the games that have passed and he added รขโ‚ฌล“We have 17 games to go, we need to be looking forward, not back

รขโ‚ฌล“We have some big games coming up against Liverpool, Southampton (at home) and Manchester City in the next few weeks.

รขโ‚ฌล“These games are going to be tough, but this is the challenge that we face.รขโ‚ฌย
