For much of last season, the same Leeds fans were telling us that promotion was a certainty as they – then under the stewardship of Garry Monk – were heading for the play offs which of course they were bound to win. But they bottled the end of the season, winning just one of their last eight games and finishing outside the play off zone.
But a 3-2 win at the Macron Stadium on the opening weekend has left many Leeds fans already believing that they can improve on this next season and they believe that capturing the signature of Bartley will be the missing piece on whatever jigsaw they are putting together.
They took to Twitter last night to express a desire to sign the defender who was on loan there last season with a selection of these highlighted by Football Fancast
