Barnsley v Swansea – Match Centre

It’s been a good day so far for the Swans with 3rd placed Bournemouth slipping up at home against Luton but can we take advantage of that this evening at Barnsley.

It has been two weeks since we were last in league action when Watford were beaten at the Liberty but tonight is the start of an away double header as we follow up with a midweek game at Blackburn.

The Swans go into the 2nd half of the season still in 2nd place after Bournemouth failed twice to catch us this week so Steve Cooper will be looking to use tonight to put some air between us and the chasing pack and keep us on the heels of Norwich who won at Cardiff this afternoon.

All week we have been building to this game with comprehensive coverage via our matchday build up which you can take a look at here and also interact with Swans fans everywhere as the match unfolds – a game that of course is live on Sky Sports.

Our matchday forum will be available for comments during the match and all the after match reaction so make sure you check in regularly as the next 24 hours unfolds – you can see the matchday thread by clicking here

Team news and match incidents will be shown below
