He may be on loan at Swindon Town but there was news of a contract extension today for Jordan Garrick as he penned a deal that will keep him at the Liberty until the Summer of 2023.

Garrick was on a deal set to expire at the end of this season but, despite being currently out of the plans of Cooper, the Swans were keen to extend that deal for a further two years.

The player joined Swindon late in the transfer window with Kieron Freeman moving in the opposite direction and Garrick has made 6 appearances for the Robins since that loan move was completed, finding the net on one occasion.

His Swansea career has been very stop start although more towards the stop than start with just 3 starts in 20 appearances for the club, scoring three times in the process since joining up with the first team squad.
