Morris undergoes surgery in the states

Jordan Morris has undergone surgery to repair his torn left ACL and says heโ€™s now โ€œready to workโ€ on the path to recovery.

In a post on his Instagram account, the player who joined the Swans in the January window added that “his comeback started today” – comments that attracted almost 14,000 likes on the social media platform.

Morris also added these words to thank his surgeon “Thank you to Dr. Mandelbaum and his team!” he said as he appeared to be in good spirits after the procedure.

Morris post was immediately commented on by some of the Swans squad with Andre Ayw, Jamal Lowe, Joel Latibeaudiere, Connor Roberts, Conor Hourihane, Yan Dhanda and Paul Arriola all sending best wishes to the player for his recovery.

Morris picked up the injury in the 4-1 defeat at Huddersfield.
