The Swans are expected to confirm today the kick off time for the Wycombe game on Saturday after it was confirmed on the weekend that the change would happen due to the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh on Saturday afternoon.

The 3pm time for the funeral was formally announced on Saturday and an EFL spokesman said As a mark of respect, EFL matches scheduled for 3pm on Saturday April 17 will be moved to avoid a clash with the funeral of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

“The EFL will now work with its Clubs to determine at what time the matches will be played, giving consideration to the timing of the service.

“An announcement will follow in due course.”

It is anticipated that all games will kick off at either 12.00 or 12.30 to ensure all are completed ahead of the funeral itself.

The only Championship game which will not be affected will be the one between Norwich and Bournemouth which will retain its 8pm kick off with a win for the Canaries meaning they will have sealed an immediate return to the Premier League.
