Liam Cullen could have a big three weeks ahead of him as he looks to be playing a key part in the Swans play-off campaign which will kick off a week tomorrow with the first leg of the semi final at Barnsley.

Cullen has found himself back in the squad after an earlier than anticipated return from injury with the initial diagnosis being that he could be out for the season.

But he is back and has found himself on the scoresheet for the Swans and now looks to help the team score the goals that everyone hopes will lift us into the Premier League next season after a three year absence.

Cullen believes that there were plenty of positives to be taken from yesterday’s 2-0 defeat at Watford and thinks that just some fine-tuning in the final third will be enough to get the wins that are needed to get the celebrations started in South Wales.

Speaking to the official site, the Swans striker saidย โ€œItโ€™s a disappointing result, but there were plenty of positives in terms of the performance

โ€œIf we play like that and fine-tune in the final third then weโ€™ll be looking good in the play-off matches.

โ€œWe have a good amount of time before the first leg, and it gives us a chance to work on things in training.

โ€œIf we can keep working on our finishing and end product in the play-offs then hopefully we can pull off what we are targeting.โ€
