Released Swansea City striker Andre Ayew is looking like he may become one of Patrick Vieria’s first signings at Crystal Palace as he seem likely to link back up with his brother for the third time in their careers.
Ayew was released by the Swans at the end of the last campaign at the end of his contract despite being the Swans top scorer.ย ย Ayew’s reported wage of ยฃ80k per week would always have been the reason why the contract was unlikely to be renewed and this was confirmed soon after the Swans season ended with play off heartache at Wembley and defeat to Brentford.
Football website 90 min is reporting that talks are already underway between player and club with a view to a move despite earlier reports linking him with a move as well to both Newcastle United and Celtic.
Should the move come off then it will mean that, at club level, the brothers will have played together at Marseille and Swansea as well as Palace.
Not worth 80k a week
No thanks. An average player at best. Not good enough for the premiership.ยฃ80k a week for a 31 year old you have to be joking. Palace need quality not a championship player
