It was a transfer rumour right at the very start of this window and one that had seemed to have gone away over the past few weeks but there are fresh claims this morning that Burnley are in talks to try and sign Connor Roberts from the Swans.
The Welsh international has been a spectator this season due to the injury he picked up at the European Championships and has long since been associated with a potential move away from the club as one of the club’s prized assets on the pitch.
Burnley were linked earlier this summer but that appeared to have fizzled out although a reports this morning on Sky Sports News suggests that talks could already have opened.

The Clarets have completed the signing of Maxwel Cornet from Lyon and are in the market for players ahead of Tuesdayโs transfer deadline.
