Scott Parker will go into today’s game looking for a reaction from his Bournemouth side after they slipped to their first league defeat of the season in midweek against Preston.
A home defeat ended their 15 game unbeaten start to the season and whilst they remain the league leaders as they prepare to welcome the Swans to the South Coast they will do so with the words of the manager warning them that they are in for a tough afternoon.
Russell Martin will arrive with the Swans in confident mood after four wins in five games and a host of impressive performances that have lifted us from the wrong end of the league table to the brink of the division’s top six.
Parker is therefore under no illusion as to the challenge that awaits his side as he explained in yesterday’s press conference where he saidย โThey are a really good side.
โThe manager has gone in there and started slowly, as youโd expect from a new manager coming in creating new ideas.
โWe need to be fully aware of the assets and problems they are going to cause us, which we will be. There are also elements to our game which I feel can hurt them as well.”
