Every year football comes together to pay their own respects to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice whilst serving their country and not only shows that respect with a minutes silence at games but by raising thousands through the auctions for matchworn shirts.

The Swans are no different and fans have the chance to get hold of match shirts from the recent win against Peterborough United via the site.ย  ย So far, more than ยฃ6000 has been bid for these shirts but there is still time to get your hands on one of the shirts with the auction not closing until next Sunday.

Planet Swans are pleased to support matchwarnshirt.co.uk with their fundraising with them telling us that “This year football has once more come together to show its support for the Armed Forces Community. Players in the Premier League, English Football League and Womenโ€™s Super League are proudly wearing the poppy on their shirts in the buildup to and during Remembrance weekend.

“Supporters have the chance to own these unique match-worn shirts, beautifully embossed with the poppy, through an online shirt auction with the funds raised going to the Royal British Legion.”
