Swans await FA Cup opponents – check out the 3rd round draw details

The Swans will find out their FA Cup 3rd Round opponents this evening when the Championship and Premier League teams join the 20 sides from the lower divisions who have made it through to this stage of the competition.

The 2nd round ties have been in full flow this weekend and all but one of the ties have been played and the draw will take place before that last tie which takes place this evening between Boreham Wood and St Albans City on ITV4.

The Swans will be ball number 39 in the draw having had a reasonable record in the competition in the past five years with two quarter final appearances and a 5th round exit last season.

The third round will take place over the weekend of Friday 7 until Monday 10 January 2022, with winning clubs picking up ยฃ82,000 from the competition prize fund.

Been watching the Swans since the very late 1970s and running the Planet Swans website (in all its current and previous guises since the summer of 2001 As it stood JackArmy.net was right at the forefront of some of the activity against Tony Petty back in 2001, breaking many of the stories of the day as fans stood against the actions where the local media failed.
