As speculation increases that the Swans are potentially about to do two pieces of key business with MK Dons in this transfer window, a local journalist has said that there have been no bids as yet from any club for either player.
It has been reported for a while now that an agreement had been reached to sign goalkeeper Andy Fisher whilst Sky Sports reported last week that both us and Huddersfield Town were in talks with the Dons over the signature of O’Riley – once coveted by Liverpool.
Toby Lock, Sports Editor for the MK Citizen is clear though that – as at 3pm this afternoon – there had been no bids for either player despite the speculation.
As it stands though (Monday 3/1 afternoon in case this ages badly!) I understand there haven't been any bids for either player from any club.#MKDons https://t.co/WGolilvXrD

Suggestions over the weekend stated that Fisher could complete a move as early as Wednesday and whilst this is clearly still possible (until it is Thursday!) then it seems unlikely if no bids are yet to be made to the parent club.ย ย Every football fan knows that discussions can take place “unofficially” but no transfer can ever be completed until fees have been agreed.
The sheer fact that it is generating the column inches though says that things are likely to happen and if a fee is agreed then we could see things moving very quickly.ย The key here will be the Dons will not be rushed to sell but at the same time will not want to hold out too long into the window and find that they have no time to draft suitable replacements.
This will develop in an interesting way in the coming days with the Dons also anticipating interest in another one of their star players in Scott Twine.
