Hull City manager Grant McCann is on the verge of being sacked from the club, despite winning the last two games ahead of the Swans’ trip to the North East.
McCann has been in charge at the KC Stadium for two and a half years, overseeing the club’s relegation to League One before leading them to promotion back to the Championship last year.
The news comes after the club were taken over by a Turkish led group, with the Daily Mail reporting that former Rangers striker Shota Arvaladze set to take over in the coming days.
The Tigers are 10 points clear of the drop zone and are only a few points behind the Swans, but the decision to remove McCann from his position is thought to have been made prior to the recent wins against the teams placed 2nd and 3rd in the league – Bournemouth and Blackburn.
The Swans played out a 0-0 draw with Hull earlier in the season, but both teams have seen a reasonable improvement in performance on the pitch, reflecting in reasonably safe league table positions.
It will undoubtedly be a tough game on Saturday, which has just been made a little more difficult. With that being said, what’s the money for a 4-0 away win?
4-0 away winโฆ. Ask Bournemouth if they thought they were going to win alsoโฆ.๐
