A deal for Watford’s Domingos Quina now deemed “unlikely”

The Watford Observer provided an early update today on the Swans interest in Watford’s Domingos Quina and stated that any deal for the player to come to SA1 was unlikely but they did not completely rule it out.

It was reported last week that Quina was likely to have his loan spell at Fulham cut short and the Swans were looking at securing a move for him to join up with the team for the second half of the season.

But his morning, in their transfer deadline day blog, the Watford Observer reported that “he is not likely to be heading to Swansea and that other options are now more likely.

“Swansea is still an option, but far from the strongest possibility as things stand this morning.”

It was suggested even in the early reports last week that there could be other Championship clubs interested and now it seems they could have moved ahead of the Swans in a likely deadline for the player.
