The Swans make the short trip to Cardiff City for today’s South Wales derby fixture with bragging rights at stake – and potentially the first ever double in a league season.

Russell Martin is expected to bring both Jamie Paterson and Flynn Downes back into the fold with Joel Piroe and Michael Obafemi leading the line. Ryan Manning sits out the final of his four match suspension.

Cardiff boss Steve Morison

“We know what we are going to do – we know what we do as a team.

“We might tweak a couple of things. We know what they (Swansea) do – they do the same thing all the time, the same way we do.

“Atmosphere we don’t have to worry about [in the derby]. [We] don’t have to worry about intensity, don’t have to worry about geeing the lads up.”

Swans boss Russell Martin

“The stat tells you how difficult it is (the double).

“It’s not something we’re focusing on. We understand how much it means to so many people.

“It means a lot to all of us. They have a chance to make history, they know that.

“They have to embrace that challenge. Nothing to be fearful of. The main focus is delivering a performance.”
