Swansea City take on play-off chasing Middlesbrough at the Swansea.com Stadium today with their own hopes of a top six finish virtually diminished despite a seven match unbeaten run.

The Swans may look to add a sprinkling of youth into today’s team with the likes of Cameron Congreve and Kyle Joseph pushing for a start.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Swans coach Matt Gill

“We’re trying to finish as high as we can but I think a top-half finish would show a lot of progression and positivity heading into next season.

“We’re second in the form table, we’ve scored 15 goals in these seven games, and there’s been some real progress regarding that.

“I think everyone can take loads from that and feel good about themselves.”

Boro boss Chris Wilder

“At our best, we can go and get a result at Swansea.

“And if we do get a result, then all of a sudden, the picture changes and we’re going into the last three games of the season with a bit of momentum again.

“Then, anything can happen.”
