Swansea City couldn’t topple the league leaders as two Ian Maatsen goals saw Burnley extend their lead at the top of the Championship.
Maatsen scored from a free kick and then benefitted from some woeful keeping by Steven Benda to double the lead. Oli Cooper brought the Swans back into it late on in the first half but there was to be no fightback.
The midfield receiving higher scores … laughable.
The midfiled was as usual pedestrian and slow in thought and action.
Manning and Cabango the only two on the pitch worthy of wearing the shirt.
