Russell Martin was delighted after his side comfortably saw off Wigan Athletic on Easter Monday to move the club closer to the top half of the Championship.
The recent form has seen not only three clean sheets in four but ten points collected out of a possible twelve; a stark difference from the torrid 24 game run that extended back to October 2022.
But Martin sees the momentum building with this current mini run and hopes it continues when Huddersfield Town, managed by Neil Warnocl, come to town this weekend.
He told the Official Site: “I really enjoyed the performance.
โWe watched Wiganโs performances before this game and some of the results, they’ve been really unfortunate.
“The only disappointment is we don’t get the third goal to really kill the game off, but I’m really proud of the players.
RUSSELL MARTIN | THAT WAS A VERY PLEASING PERFORMANCE

Russell Martin was a happy man after watching his Swansea City side continue their good run with an accomplished 2-0 victory at Wigan.
Joel Piroe got both goals for the visitors, finishing two fine team moves โ the second a particularly classy attack from back to front โ to take his tally for the season to 17 and move him on to 41 goals in total for the Swans.
Andy Fisher made a key save late on to preserve a third clean sheet in four games, and the Swans head coach was very pleased with how a side showing four changes performed.
“I really enjoyed the performance,โ said Martin.

“The second goal probably encapsulates everything that we work on and try to be. It’s a beautiful goal from our point of view. It was a brilliant goal.
โSo, I am really proud of the players, I am delighted for the players and the travelling supporters, there were more than we expected on an Easter Bank Holiday.
โIt keeps the momentum going and we were able to freshen the team up which means we have great competition.
โThere are so many positives and we have to keep driving on.โ
We are playing better and getting easier on the eye .Itโs nice to see a simpler back four and Ntcham looks a class act and at last someone who can start a game. The squad looks stronger too with a better bench.
I see the Wales on line finding Cardiff playing so badly and the club generally in such a mess have turned their attention to which players we will lose in the summer .
One of their writers – probably Abadonato – picked 6 C . Players in a combined swansea Cardiff eleven .Deluded
