Nathan Wood’s England Under-21 call up proved that his performances for the Swans this season had not gone unnoticed and now it has been suggested that both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are watching the progress of the Swans defender.
Wood joined from Middlesbrough last summer and has started thirty-five league games this term under Russell Martin with form earning him that international call up during the last international break.
A good performance there has propelled that interest even further and now it has been suggested by a reputable journalist on Twitter that this has led to both North London giants monitoring his progress.

The same Tweet suggests that the Swans are looking to extend the defender’s contract which would, at least, help secure the value in any potential future transfer but it does look like we could be set for a summer of speculation over Wood’s future.
