The “logic” of Andy Coleman’s recent tweet starts to make sense today with Wales Online now reporting that Josh Marsh will be staying at Swansea City despite much speculation to the contrary.
Marsh was expected to leave the Swans along with Julian Winter this summer as Paul Watson and Andy Coleman came into the club.ย ย But reports to that particular scenario clearly angered Coleman and now it has been – presumably leaked through official channels – reported by Wales Online that Marsh will be staying at the club to work alongside Watson who is still expected to arrive from Luton.
The site also reports that Marsh has already held conversations with Coleman over the summer recruitment plans with targets already identified although the current managerial uncertainty has not helped those plans.
The basis of those plans though currently assume that we will continue with the possession based approach of Martin who is expected to join Southampton relatively soon as the discussions appear to be rumbling on.
