Reports have surfaced this morning that Luton Town are keen to sign Joel Latibeaudiere, the Swans defender who is out of contract at the end of the season.
The move was revealed by Football Insider and says that Luton are one of several sides interested in Lati who will not be signing a new deal to stay in SA1.
The Hatters, who were promoted to the Premier League for the first time last month and the report references that there was also an enquiry from another promoted side – Burnley – back in January.
Latibeaudiere would surely snap up the chance to play in the Premier League on his departure from the Swans even if that would be in an anticipated relegation battle at Luton although it would be interesting to see if there is interest from elsewhere.
Lati signed for the Swans under Steve Cooper back in 2020 and made 34 appearances in the Championship last season, 30 of them as a starter.
