Is Tymon in Swansea for a medical? Is Stoke City man to be a deadline day signing?

It is being reported that Josh Tymon is set for a medical in SA1 ahead of a deadline day transfer from Stoke City.

Stoke rejected the Swans opening offer for Tymon, but they have come back with an improved bid of over ยฃ2million for the 24-year-old.

We have been in the market for a left sided option in defence in this market and Tymon meets the bill on that front as well as a couple of other criteria that have been key to us in transfer policy.

Tymon has yet to start in the Championship so far for Stoke this season with summer signing Enda Stevens ahead of him in Alex Neilโ€™s plans at the bet365 Stadium.

Nothing official has – at the time of writing – been shared around this medical but it was known that he was one of our key targets in these closing stages of the window.

  1. So today I’m a mildly optimistic fan. If half of the paper trail all and reports are correct then I think wwe ould have had a good window.
It’s not hard for most fans to be pesimistic after recent transfer windows.
But surely even the dubious fans can’t fail to be excited with all the proposed transfers.
I’m happy to see Lowe back pederson could be a good one. Bashir Humphreys? Well I’d given up on that one.
Let’s hope these get through the door so I can become an optimistic fan again ๐Ÿ™

  2. Tymon is rapid going forward but very hit and miss with the quality of his crossing. That is as a left wing back.
As a left back I’m afraid gets caught out much too often.
